About Bryan Graham, MPT

BryanGrahamMPT

I blame my good fortune on a soccer ball and curiosity. As a young teen, I started playing soccer and remembered being fascinated by the conditioning required to get better, and the physical therapy administered to injured athletes. When I entered college, there was never any question about what I wanted to do. I have always been curious and have had an ongoing love of science—my natural inclination is to explore and figure out how things work. Physical Therapy allows me to bring all of my passions and interests to work every day

Oceanside Physical Therapy, Inc. is an outpatient physical therapy office owned and operated by Bryan Graham, MPT. Bryan has been practicing as a licensed physical therapist for over 17 years specializing in the treatment of orthopedic and sports related injuries. Bryan handles cases ranging from the professional and college level athletes to weekend warriors. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and Master of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in Virginia. In addition, Bryan is a Certified Performance Specialist with EXOS (Athletes’ Performance Institute, http://www.athletesperformance.com/ )

Bryan has an additional interest in lower extremity biomechanics and rehab and uses the office’s multi-camera computer video system to help analyze a patient’s gait or running mechanics to get to the root of the problem

In addition to the traditional physical therapy techniques, Bryan has completed several post-graduate courses in Osteopathic Manual Therapy Techniques and uses a hands-on approach as a large part of the patient care. These technique include; Strain and Counterstrain, Muscle Energy Techniques, Cranioscaral techniques and Osteopathic mobilization. These techniques help Bryan restore normal alignment and function that expedites the patient’s recovery.

On a personal note, Bryan has been an active runner and has competed at various levels of mountain bike and road cycling and has 12 years of experience playing and coaching soccer at the high school and college level. Bryan lives locally with his beautiful wife Allison and lovely daughter Hannah and their two dogs Luke and Leia.
